Becky Mosgofian is a seasoned communications professional with 30 years of experience in public relations, marketing and event planning.
Some of Becky’s earliest memories were behind a toy typewriter, conducting “interviews” with family members. Her childhood dream was to be a talk show host. She picked up the nickname YOBECKO as a teen and now it has come full circle!
Becky is a strategic creative thinker, dynamic collaborator and a natural brand cheerleader. As the founder of YOBECKO, Brand Cheerleaders & Storytellers, and a consultant with the Small Business Development Center at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she empowers entrepreneurs to develop compelling narratives to scale their businesses.
Becky Mosgofian holds a BA in Journalism/PR with minors in Business Administration and Studio Art from Cal Poly Humboldt. Her extensive career includes work in television, print, and radio, as well as directing a university alumni relations program and serving as the editor-in-chief of its publication before establishing her marketing and PR consulting practice in 2002.
Specialties include: public relations, branding, marketing, copywriting, event planning, advertising/voice-overs and social media management.
